Company Description: Finance Blocks works as a Platform as a Service (PaaS) solution to Rural Financial Institutions through which they can digitize their banking process. Finance Blocks is backed by cutting-edge technology that enables institutions to provide seamless financial offerings to rural populations. Finance Blocks has integrated Polygon protocol (Will be shifting to Algorand) and intends to push all information to the Blockchain. Presently, our ecosystem supports 1000 transactions per second. The platform connects seamlessly with national identity systems and extends a secure repository for user identification data on the blockchain. Job Description: At Finance Blocks we are looking for a highly motivated backend developer who will assist us in the development, deployment and running of our backend. The ideal candidate will have experience in deploying web apps, databases and even-driven APIs and microservice architectures on a cloud platform, particularly AWS. Experience in developing smart contracts for DApps related to Blockchains based on Solidity, EVM, BSC, Algorand, Substrate and/or Cosmos IBC, would be highly regarded. • Highly analytical, innovative, and able to think strategically and to develop comprehensive detailed specifications. • Deep experience writing high-quality code in Imperative or Functional Programming languages or frameworks like - Ruby on Rails, Java, Go, Node.js • Ability to write well-tested, thoughtful, and concise code and improve code quality standards within the organization. • Excellent verbal and writing skills; ability to produce clear, concise communications and documentation. • Experience and/or willingness to work in high-functioning agile teams in a growth-oriented environment. • Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgresql, Cassandra, MongoDB Perks of the job: Remote work or Travel (India, Nigeria, Brazil, and more) & creating products that help make people's lives substantially better.
